Instructions for formula input and the plotter

To draw a function, a
variable must be defined. In the example the variable "x0" is defined.
If there is no variable, it can be defined in the formula list, as shown in the picture.
Next step is to create a function. To create a simple sine-function
take the order as shown in the picture. With point '4' the function will be copied to the formula-list.

Now the plotter can be opened.
The sine-function is already shown in the list.

Clicking with the left mouse-key into the 'f' box of the function, will
draw it.

Clicking with the right mouse-key into the 'f' box of the function, can select a different color for drawing.

The sine-function is shown now in red.
Clicking into the
box f' the first derivation will be drawn.
In the example the color blue is selected for this function.

Calculating null, intersection of two functions, minima und maxima.
Zoom in , zoom out .
Center to null, or any other position.
Zoom with Mouse-Wheel at the actual cursor-position.

For example selecting "Intersection", a rectangular cursor will show up, which has to be moved to the interesting position. With a mouse-click the result will be copied to the result-list.
This calculation is based on Regula-Falsi method in numerical analyses.
If the given accuracy does not hit after 100 iterations, you will see the following warning:
Warning: Stopped after 100 iterations.

Have fun !!
